A Human being should be able to...
"A human being should be able to change a diaper,[Robert Heinlein via his character Lazarus long in 'Time Enough for Love'].
plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship,
design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts,
build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying,
take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone,
solve equations, analyze a new problem,
pitch manure, program a computer,
cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.
Specialization is for insects."

:-) I can do about five of all these things.
Yeah. Me to. The list does give us something to aspire to though.
What I could add that as part of a team (tribe, clan, family) it doesn't matter if you cannot do all things well. Someone else can probably do the things you cannot, and likewise, you can do, or do better, what is lacking in some others.
Human progress has been both because we are adaptable, and because we can specialise. (IMHO).
